This is for the ~Pokecon's ([link]) contest this month. Coming from a climate famous for its winter weather, and a multicultural country, I think I managed to hit some of the highlights of the season (I hope...>>
 I see it as various photographs a restaurant owner took, only when the owner went to write a letter to their friend, in some obscure place where it doesn't snow, he really couldn't explain the appeal of snow. Thus the ice gijinka sent pictures to his fire friend, who spread the pictures around his kitchen table. The letter went something like this: Dear Flareon, How's the family? Everyone alright? That volcano eruption made the news all the way up here, I swear, you'd think the Legendaries would be kind enough to give some warning before they pull a stunt like that. That could have ended horribly, even if you all prefer to play in lava over water (I always knew you fire gijinka were strange people.) Anyways, in the last letter you sent me you claimed that snow must be horrible to live with all year around (imagine that coming from someone who plays in Lava). But lets face facts, ignore the one where you have no right to point fingers on what's "horrible" to live in, you simply do not understand Winter and the Festival. I managed to find copies of some pictures I've take over the years, you know what they say, "A picture's worth a thousand words." Maybe these will help in the explanation. Anyways, keep out of trouble. I send my love to all of you. Until next time, Glaceon. P.S: You'll have to visit sometime, but it'll have to be before the pass freezes over. Unless you want to be the ones taking the pictures of the festival for my scrapbook. |
